What do you think is the best gaming console in your opinion? I like the PS2 an awful lot I just hope that the PS3 doesn't screw it up.

Even though the PS2 may not be as powerful as the other systems, I think it has a better game selection for the most part (excluding Halo and Super Smash Brothers).

PC can play anything and before you say no it cant it cant play xbox 360 what do you think the games were programmed with? and it has a higher definition than a 360

The nintendo 64 blows everything out of the water. I'm sorry.

Though I am enjoying xbox live on the 360. Nothing could compare to the days of 4 player split screen on perfect dark and goldeneye.

Nintendo really needs to remake some of the N64 greats for the Gamecube.

I really wished you would have added Sega, NES, SNES to this poll.

But on this poll, I choose Gamecube. Super Smash Brothers? Mario Kart? Metroid Prime? Eternal Darkness? All good stuff IMO.

Don't let Mario games fool you from childrens games, it can be very fun and addicting.

I'm a nintendo fan boy since 88'. :)

I obviously voted PC, but as far as consoles are concerned, nothing beats Mario Party with 3 friends. Or two friends who are amazing at any console game seemingly instantly and a girlfriend who can occasionally beat you at console games. This is pretty much where my hate for consoles stemmed.

Nintendo 64 is what killed nintendo and made playstation get on top of the game. Nintendo 64 released only 2-3 games a month. Nintendo Power magazines were paper thin because they had nothing to talk about. Had no Metroid games on that system. Prices for the N64 were a joke, caused most of the video game community to start turning there backs and jumping on the Sony bandwagon. SNES Mario Kart was more fun than the N64's version. 4 player screen sucks and is hard to see, thus making it not fun.

Sorry, N64 sucked. IMO. Any TV console nintendo has ever released is better than the N64. Too bad your not a 80s kid, you were missing out on something special. Don't get me wrong, I am a nintendo fan boy, but I'll admit that the N64 was highly over rated.

Since the PC isn't a console, of that list I would go for the Playstation. Megadrive would get my vote if that was on there though.

Definitely the N64. Most of my all time favourite games have been for the N64, nothing can beat it.
