A world war 1 game.
But that would be fucking boring. All you would do is sit in a trench for days, then run across a muddy field and get shot by a machine gun.
It would be just like the Omaha Beach level on Allied Assault, only 50 times worse.

That WOULD be cool. I suppose the closest thing they have so far is something like this

A Little League World Series Game! Particularly one made by EA Sports.
I've always wanted a decent MMA game.

A WWII game where you can choose from 3 different countries (USA, Britain, Germany). It'd be a non-linear game where you'd play as a high ranking General whose missions would range from invading a country, to destroying a village, to assasination attempts. While not paying attention to the missions, you could roam around different regions in Europe and take on side missions. You'd also have to make money to buy ammo, guns, vehicles and you'd be able to trade with allies. You could build barracks, troops, vehicles.
You'd also have decisions that would greatly alter the outcome of the game, for example, attacking your own allies and switching sides or something like that.
This game would obviously become the greatest War game ever.

a game where you build an engine, give if as many mods as you want or simply keep it stock, then redline it to see how humch hp and how long it lasts before blowing up and killing all the children in the orphanage. or as Enjoi suggested, a world war 1 FPS, using the latest graphics and other technology, that would seriously be awesome, and since its just a video game, they can tweak it a little, but just enough as to where it still stays true and accurate to the actual war

I think a WWI aerial fighter game would be fun.

There was this game called "campfire" where you were gonna play as Jason-like serial killers and hunt teenagers down but they cancelled it for some reason. I'd like to see something like that as a game.

I'll love to have a game like this:
http://www.ebaumsworld.com/games/warbears.html
Except, you know... a little more serious, better graphics and a lot more complicated.
Baisicly you can have either a full blown tactical game, given choices through a menu, a action/stealth game with occasional tactical menus, and then a full blown action/stealth where you actually do the actions instead of choosing them with a menu.
The game won't end with one bad choice, but every one might make your situation a lot more complicated.
You'll face the question, lose a hostage or a fellow man. Wait it out and take the threat empty, or take the shot when there's lots of wind.
The whole game will revolve around this, and to add a story the MC will be connected with the story, such as a family member as a hostage, or a former team mate as one of the terrorists.
You'll have different types of game play with lots of variety. You can have a single enviorment, but manage to have different kinds of game types (Kinda like they do it in SC's MvS) where you can have spec. ops infiltrating bases, SWAT bursting in, hackers solving puzzles, snipers having to calculate wind and time their shots, negotiators making the right choice.
You'll pick up clues, you'll have different plans and advice. You'll have ingame cut scenes with big suprises and shocks that change the whole situation completely and puts you in a uncomfortable situation (One of your SWAT team is a double agent, what do you do? Or, there's a bomb, and you don't know where it is and when it'll blow, what do you do? All or nothing? Or try to diffuse it? Superior is telling you to do something, do it or do not?)
You could be sneaking around, and you'll see photo albums, you'll learn more that'll make the story more than something like Doom is, the more you learn the more the story develops.
There'll be cool weapons, there'll be scenes where you'll get caught and escape.
Now this all seems complicated, HOWEVER remember. This is really happening in one map, the reason why it's so long is just because of the situation and how much you have to think about what to do.

I'd like to see a 1st person game where you can partake in various important historical events, but with the next gen graphics and physics and all that.
It could span all the way back from the French Revolution up to current day.
P.S. This (http://www.spore.com/) game has a pretty cool idea behind it.
