If theres 2 things I know about this years Madden, it's this.

1. Alexander is fucked.
2. This could be the best Madden EVER

I am absolutely in love with this new blocking addition.

I'm also glad they juiced up Superstar mode, which was horrible in 06. This time you control your guy, and your guy only, beautiful..no more bullshit playing another season instead of franchise mode.

Mini-camp with a 40 yard dash! :cool: Pretty awesome.

Although they still havent improved the muscular look on EVERY player in the game, everything else is top notch, should be the best Madden ever.

Sounds awesome but I'm confused with the blocking thing. Do you control the blocker then whole time? I loved running in all of the maddens and taking it out so I can move a 300 lb linemen instead isnt as fun. Of course that should give the game more balance and it will probably grow on me. But what are you supposed to do when you finish your block off, and your RB is half way down the field?

PS: Leave this forum here, its a really good idea.

I think its awesome, I hate when my idiot tight ends miss blocks that could break my RB for atleast 20 more yards.

Here it says once you made your initial block, control immediately switch back to the man with the ball. So theres a way to return back to the runner. I wonder what button you use for all of these, since all of them do something useful.

Ok...here are my guesses:

The new JUKE: You probably still use back juke and truck stick, but you push the right analoge stick to the right or left 'cause you dont use 'em.

well...Thats all i know, lol.

The pics almost look as good as NFL2K5. And now they're adding jukes to the analog stick? 2k5 didn't do that. Oh wait... yeah they did. I don't seem bitter do I?

But in all seriousness...I like what they're doing with superstar mode. When I played football, I played guard and tackle. I would guard the bench and tackle anyone who would get close to the gatoraide.:D Seriously though, I'm real interested in creating an O-lineman to see how it plays out on the field.

One thing that has me worried is will it be any good on the 360? Or will it be a crappier version with good graphics...again. I have Madden '06 and like how it plays on Xbox, but I'm itching for a football title on the 360. I guess I'll just rent it for both and choose wich ever has the best gameplay.

2k5 blows this game out of the water, and Madden has so many damn bugs they shouldnt bother coming out with new versions of it until they can fix the old shit.

Keep in mind that Madden's picture is the 360 version. Took two years and a new generation of consoles.

I'm excited about this game. I've always liked the running game so it's been pretty annoying that the Madden games have put too much emphasis on passing.

imagine 2k today.....

they would have fixed the son of god, garrison hearst. players would act like they could see the ball. defenders would stop slowing down when a pass came overhead. no more dline glitch.

AND NO MORE DROPPED PASSES.

I'm usually not a big fan of Madden and I always but the NFL2K games. I might buy this one.

I just accepted the 2ks death and forced myself to move on to Madden. Oh well. I still occasionally play 2k5 because the running was so much fun. I loved juking someone out of there shoes with the juke stick. The animation where the defender slides on by you with his hand out is so rewarding.

I'm going to miss the 2k series forever, but it finally looks like Madden's graphics are getting way better and more realistic (I thought that 2k5 had better graphics). I'll eventually accept 2k's death, because it looks like Madden 07 is very promising, through the game itself and the graphics (and yes I'm well aware that graphics dont make a good game blah blah blah but they sure as hell help out a hell of a lot!)

I thought he had an injury in the preseason that year, but I'm probly wrong. But he didn't have a real good year that year. Alexander's still screwed though.

That'd be it.

I believe he hurt his pinky and couldnt play the last game, it's not much, but it is an injury and he did miss time..he also had one of the worst seasons in his illustrious career.

But the curse didnt let him get away that easily, as he missed basically the entire 2005 season..
