The Final Fantasy and Silent Hill series have consistently had the best music, in my opinion. What are some of your favorite game soundtracks?

I think Metroid and Super Metroid had the coolest video game music.

Megaman games usually have good music, as do Castlevania. Check out the Minibosses and the NESkimoes for video game covers.

Meh, the music in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is way too repetitive. The greatest video game song ever is Liberi Fatali, the intro song to Final Fantasy VIII. It was the first ever fully orchestrated video game song, and it's brilliant!

I don't know why, but every Donkey Kong game dating back to the original has the greatest music. I guess its that jungle/percussion theme that I like so much.


Oh snap, any donkey kong EXCEPT DK Rap.

Carmageddon 2 had Iron Maiden.

And of course the origonal Dooms had great music.

I love all Zelda themes and I really like the music from The Hobbit

THPS Underground had some good songs. Half-life 2 definately did a good job with their soundtrack too.

The song that played while you are in Tristram in Diablo 1. The music alone creeped me out so much I didnt want to go into the dungeon for the first time.

You won't regret it. It's an easy d/l to go play it, and one of the best RPG's ever.
