First Call of Duty

I'm sure this thread has been done tones of times, but does anyone still play the first Call of Duty? I didn't like the second one too much so I stuck with the first one. If you have xfire, post your username so we can 'play' :wave:

I loved single player on both the games, but I never really thought it was very good online. I can't really put my finger on why not, but I could never see how it became so popular as an online game.

It's basically Quake 3 with ww2 weapons online. The campaigns were wonderfully scripted, and it's pretty much a must play for any war game fan.

I have it, but don't have it installed on my laptop. I don't know how well it will handle it. I'll try, though. And I'll get xfire if this works.

I play CoD1 a lot, but since I'm in Europe, I probably can't play americans or canadians etc without loads of lag.

I just installed it and played the single player for about an hour and a half.
