Do you think by keeping Sadaam in power the world itself will be a more peacful place. You badger America for all our problems yet you never state which country you believe to be a great role model. The answer is there isnt any. America is the only country that is looked under a magnifying glass by the whole world and criticized by everyone.

Im willing to go to the other point of view though. You are right America is no pretty place. we have done some really stupid stuff in the past. We have corporate scandals, people stealing money, rich living off misery of poor, horrible murders and whatever else.

You know what, I do not think that America should be in Iraq. I think Bush rushed in prematurely, and should have waited until Saddam gave him reason to ignite a war. I do not think it is worth the lives of our own marines to free the Iraqi population from Saddam's control.

Having said that, now that Bush has already begun this war I see no other alternative for any American but to support this war. Any protester who thinks that they will make a difference in the outcome of this war is extremely gullible. If bush won't listen to the Pope, OR the U.N, what in your conceited little mind makes you think that your opinion will make a difference?

President Bush should not waste the lives of any more american marines, no american is expendable. I think bombing should be used alone. Give the Iraqi civilians fair warning of the impending attack, and surround the city with coalition forces. Any civilian who is killed in the attack will either have been forced to stay in the city, or chose to await their death. It is not worth the deaths of more Americans to kill Saddam. If that was my son over their on the front line, I would not sacrifice his life for the lives of even the entire Iraqi population, as selfish as that may sound.

We need to get out of there as soon as possible, before another american dies.

In terms of American culture, we clearly are worshipping things that should not be idolized as we do. I think that we need serious reprioritization. But so does Iraq. Both of them, in some sense, involve someone dying. I don't think we're any better than them. But since we're our own country, not theirs, we should "attack" ourselves, so to speak, before we work on Iraq.
