Hey everyone:wave: , im looking for a song editor that allows me to cut and edit songs. For example, say i have a 4 min song, and i want to drop that into my cell phone and use it as a ringtone, but i dont want the ringtone to start from the beginning. I would go into that program, and cut the song anyway i want it, and make it start from wherever i want, or cut the song to make it shorter. ect. If anyone has this kind of program, please share it :). I'm despirate for this!Thanks in advance.

Thanks, this Audacity is so hard tho :\. I only want to cut songs lol. If anyone has anything simpler, please post it!BTW im learning audacity right now, can't understand how to cut/save cut songs =\.

just highlight over the part you want then press CTRL + X, then new, paste it and save it

Thanks, this Audacity is so hard tho :\. I only want to cut songs lol. If anyone has anything simpler, please post it!BTW im learning audacity right now, can't understand how to cut/save cut songs =\.
Really? I always thought it was pretty simple. Like ihatecrazyfrog said, to get rid of parts of songs, all you need to do is highlight a part, and then press delete. I'm sure if you mess around on it for a bit, you'll find it's pretty simple.

If that dosn't work for you, try downloadalating Sound Forge.

Hmm, i highlighted the part i want, pressed CTRL +X, clicked on "New" , but when i press CTRL + V (paste) nothing pastes, any ideas?

Edit:
1 more thing, after you paste it, is it possible to save it as .mp3 and not as .aup? I want to save it, and drop it into my phone so i can use it as a ringtone.
