I might add to this thread (since I may never see one concerning Jewsih landlords again) that when my dad was at university he can recall that the the worst landlords for students seeking housing, the real shysters, were Jewish. He said that seeing how Jewish landlords treated students was the closest he ever came to understanding the motives of 1930s Germany in voting in Hitler.
