Anybody who's seen this French slasher, what did you think? I just got done watching it and I have mixed feelings. I think it started off great, and the attacks that happened inside the house were the best part. Great atmosphere, lots of gore, and I loved the terrified reactions of the girls. To me at least they seemed real and logical and the characters didn't do any stupid shit like you normally see in horror movies. But then the ending... what the fuck kind of twist was that? The movie literally imploded on itself. It's a shame since it would have been awesome as a straight, no-nonsense slasher flick. As it is I still enjoyed it. Who knows maybe it will grow on me more with subsequent viewings.
