I just saw the new trailer for Episode One (you can download it via Steam). Seems Alyx manages to escape the explosion. But to me it appeared that you actually play as Alyx. WTF? I want Gordon Freeman. If I don't get Gordon or the G Man, I'm going to be pissed. :banghead:

I beat it, its pretty cool but its just there to setup episode two... which looks AWESOME. I cant wait to play it, How do you write in white text so I dont spoil it for everyone?

I just beat it and I have to say it was pretty damn short. Even shorter than Blue shift and Opposing Force, but it was a lot of fun. I love the story line and everything. Im a fan of sci-fi thrillers like the Half-Life series.

I like the fact you get the super gravity gun right at the start of the game, I love flinging the soldiers around with that thing. I think every game should have a gravity gun. Imagine GTA San Andreas with a gravity gun.

Ok I just finished it. I don't think it was too short. I think the episodes idea is great. It keeps you coming back for more. I can't wait for Episode 2. All in all I'd say it was worth the 20 bucks.

Alyx is so much fun to have at your side. I laughed like hell when we were in the parking garage and she made the noise of the zombies and was like haha fooled ya. That shit was great.

i think it looks good...but $20 for a (as i think the ad said) 4-6 hour game(which probably means 2-3 for a experienced palyer, even if you take the time to enjoy the environment) sounds like itll be a bumm...blue shift sucked cus it was so short...its like right when you start to get into character, its like you drive away in a truck and your like "ooo i wonder where we're goi--...credits...wtf?"...same thing with Lost Coast, i know it was jsut supposed to be a short "missing chapter" to intro the dynamic lighting or wahtever, but i was still disspointed by the shortness

and ep2 looks pretty sweet...i wonder if alyx actually dies this time...maybe ill get them all if they have a special discount package...or once i start working more and get more money intake...

I think it was too short for $20, i would also have liked to see a new weapon, or more new enemy's. But i didnt pay for it my bro did, overall i would give it 7/10 compared to the normal hlf2
