Half-Life 2 Xbox 360 Bound?

The reports are coming from EB Games and Gamestop that claim the title will be released in February 2007 at an MSRP of $59.99 USD.

PS3 is getting Halflife2 as well, wether they will ump the graphics, add HD and more physics i dunno.

Playing that game with thumbsticks sucks (just like every other FPS on a console). It would be nice if some company would manufacture a mouse of consoles.

I'm guessing no. And you'd be missing a lot of buttons. You have to make some sort of extra peripheral that lets you use all the buttons.

the pc version has HD. plus the graphics are already far superiour than what the x-box and gaystation can handle

They've also since added HDR to Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source (not sure if they updated the standalone with it besides Lost Coast) for the PC version.

yea but actually go into the original game an improve textures, add more partiles, collisions and more polygons.

i dont know about anyone else but i think HL2 would be quite hard with a joypad.they would have to slow down the AI or something

I beat it with a joypad. It made a lot of situations harder than they had to be, but it was ok. What annoyed the hell out of me was that the framerate really sucked during some parts of the game. Like when those jumping things attack you in Ravenholm or anytime the game had to process physics.

nothing wrong with using thumbsticks for fps'. i rented hl2 for xbox and beat it on hard easily. adding a mouse and keyboard to a console makes it seem well not like a console anymore, kinda takes away what makes consoles fun to play.

The leisure of having a controller in your hands is much more relaxing than arranging a fucking mouse around the family TV. That's what makes consoles unique. Lay down on the couch. Learn to use sticks. Live with it.

The episodes that they are releasing are Half life 3. Plus if the whole half life 3 game took as long as half life 2 took to make then it would be out in 2010. If they started making it in 2004 that is.
