whats the trick to the keypad bit?
I think I had about 7 minutes left when I defused it. Ironic, because I don't even know the pattern for the numpad thing- I just put them on sort of randomly each time, and the third try worked.

Couldnt work out how you get the lock to open :err:
Got 2 on green then changed some others and they went back to red.

Here is a walkthrough/spoiler i just put together:
Click Begin, Watch the Animations, and Read the Intro. Click the Intro paper.
Since the beggining seems to be random, I can only tell you how to get the right code:
Each number indicates the button the bottom opposite it. So:
[A][C][D] {push}
(D)(C)(B)(A)
CLOCK
Before changing any numbers, first click the "push" button and see if any turn green, if they do, it means that that one(respectable to the chart above) is correct. Either way, click the first number to 1 and click push. If the respectable light turns green, congratulations, if not, then try that same button on 2 and again click the push button. Continue this for each number and each button untill they all light up and it opens. But keep track of what numbers youve already tried, because it doesnt always spin the same way.
Click the square in the top upper left and take out the buttons. Now click on the number pad and drag the numbers to the correct order. Each row and column has to equal 15:
294
753
618
C0E
Type in the given code.
Exit out of that box and take the screwdriver, click on the screwdriver to open the big panel, you need to make the display on the bottom right equal 1111. Each of these buttons represents the following numbers:
[B]0001-0002-0004-0008
0016-0032-0064-0128
0256-0516-1024-2148
You need to click the bold ones to make it equal 1111. Doing so will open a panel at the top, take the key, and use it to open the big section.
This part is another random numbers thing as far as i can tell, so all you need to do is some multiplication to find the right one.
FF0000 is Red. 000000 is Black. Do the math near each, and cut whichever one matches the given number on the right, and click which one to cut in the dialogue. You win.

This is awesome! The panel with the 12 switches is an example of binary. You have to convert the base 10 number 1111 to base 2 binary. The last part was hexidecimal. I teach an A+ certification class and we just got done going over binary and hexidecimal. I think I'll have them play this game on wednesday and see how many people die.
Finished with 5 minutes, btw, first try.

Hahah I loved this. The lock part was pretty easy. Just switch in click, repeat repeat repeat. I hated the numpad part. It took about 6 minutes to do of just guess n check. I just mapped out every available combination and mentally crossed out the ones I tried. Within 15 minutes you should be able to get.
Love the binary part, learned how to count binary awhile back, that was cake to me. Just Switched them all to zero and counted the circuits out. Took about 15 seconds.
The last part was easy as well. I played around with custom colors a bit back in the day. And I knew all zero's was black. So I just brought out a calculator and found out which one was true and snipped that one. Nearly 8 minutes to spare.

I beat it my first try, pretty damn awesome.
The lock I found in about a minute or so. Pretty simple. Kept switching the numbers and pushing the button until they all turned green.
The part with the number pad and the missing pieces I got confused on for about 4 to 5 minutes. I read it closely and it said 'you only have FIFTEEN minutes'. Than I figured out that every way you allign the numbers has to be 15 so I got that.
The last part took me a good 3 to 4 minutes. I Figured out what they meant and flipped 'em around 'till I got it. I randomly chose the red wire and got it for me :P
