I don't know if this belongs in here, but since gaming is my main concern, I'll put it here. Well, Recently, I got Black & White 2, and when I put the disc in to install and play it, it worked fine. Now, when I try to install or play that or something else, my disc drive doesn't seem to exist. It doesn't appear in My Computer, and it won't read games, CDs, or DVDs. I really need to know what the problem is!

Try reinstalling the driver for the cd drive. If you have a laptop try removing the drive and putting it back in. You could also try a system restore but that might make you lose black and white and have to reinstall that which would be a little annoying. My guess though is that it's a problem with the driver. Google a driver for whatever brand of drive you have.

This might sound stupid, but how would what brand of drive I have? Also, would system restore cause me to lose other things such as WoW?

Do you have to update your drivers, i thought windows did that all for you.
the only driver i ever have to update is my videocard's because they actually bring out new software for it.

Right click my computer, go to properties, go to hardware, click device manage, and click the plus sign next to CD/DVD ROM drives (something like that). It should have the brand.

Normally the best way to see what brand of drive you have would be to check the device manager (right click on "my computer", go to the "hardware" tab, click on "device manager"). However, you said that your computer isn't even regonizing that you have a cd drive which means it probably won't show up in there. If that's the case, you can try to find the bran by looking at any paperwork that came with your computer, it should say what hardware came with it. You could also try taking out the drive itself and seeing if it says the brand and model number on it. Actually, if it doesn't recognize the drive at all, your best bet might be to take out the drive completly and then put it back in. You also might be fucked though because my cd drive in my laptop stopped workout a couple months ago and is just broken. It doesn't recognize cds or dvds anymore and I tried everything to fix it. Eventually I took it into a repair place and they said I'd be better off just buying a new drive.

Ok, it shows up in device manager, and it says "TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L". Now, out of that information what would I search in google to find what I need?

Have you downloaded any free software recently? This same thing happened to be when I downloaded some music software.
I deleted it, ran a bunch of spyware and virus programs, error checked, defraged, and my cd drive was found again.... lol

What kind of free software are you talking about? I downloaded FlyFF recently, but I don't know how something would come from that.

This is a fix for just about any problem:
Restart your computer. Right before the windows logo pops up, hit F8 repeatedly. The windows boot menu will appear. select Start in Safe Mode w/Command Prompt.
Once you get to where its a black screen that says "C:\>",
type in "FormAt C:\ /c /u /s" and hit enter.
This will Form a repair file At your c:\ with certain options enabled.
problem solved.
Edit: Ok I would have felt bad if you actually had tried it. dont really do it.
But really.. check for spyware/adware/malware. You go to trend micro's website and use their free online scanners. They work pretty well. Have you tried restarting your computer? Does it list the CD drive in POST(the black screen with writing on it when you FIRST start your computer up)?

Check your BIOs to see if they are their if they are not there dowload the BIO drivers from the CD/Dvd Manufacuter website.
It might be that Black and White 2 disabled devices that are used for burning and virtual drives. The protection is called StarForce, and they are notorious for this type of protection.
EDIT: Nevermind Black & White 2 uses SafeDisc.
