Hmmm, I don't know. Maynard might surprise you with something relaxing, because he's quite versatile.

He's fairly versatile in Tool - he goes from shouting furiously to sounding like James Blunt in the Pot (at least my mum thought it sounded like James Blunt), to singing an Imagine cover in APC to filling in for Layne Staley in Alice in Chains.

But I'm referring to Patton's relaxing/lazy vocals in Faith No More; i.e. Edge of the World, Easy etc...

for a song i would definatly say lisette by quincy jones. its just orgasmic how great the chords are. for a single person i would say kenny garrett. his music is almost smooth jazz, but still considered just normal jazz. also the rippingtons are a great smooth jazz band. and how can i leave out the eagles. just a great great band, if you want more relaxing songs by them id recommend the albumn hell freezes over. finally id say steely dan- cant buy a thrill.
