The ironic thing is that the bee that killed her was seeking asylum from a neighbouring hive, the bee had been picked on by others and was simply looking for a friend. The bee did befriend a grape (haven't we all) and when the woman trampled it the bee got mad. Don't piss off a bee.

it just sounds like she got the wind knocked out of her. I mean, how much of a fall was it, a little more than 2 feet? I remember getting the wind knocked out of me when I was young, I fell backwards off of the tracks of a construction dozer and it scared the shit out of me, but I slowly regained breath. :o

For me the Grapefall clip is just as fun to figure out the story behind the clip as it was for the Aicha clip. If you notice, she start to panick before she trips and falls. I want to know what happened. This is a classic video clip. I feel bad that it happened on LIVE tv but it is still funny as hell.

HoHum, I'm the exact same way. I'm always looking for the backstory to hilarious video. Here's the story on the Winery's website:
We felt it important to address the concerns many have had for the FOX reporter that fell from a wooden platform here on property. This occurred 7 years ago, and we want to assure you the woman is fine. Her fall was the result of the platform being filmed from the back instead of the front where hand-rails are provided. Safety is of great concern to us, and no similar incident has occurred before or since.
So this was a fairly old clip that, fortunately for us, some schmuck was good enough to tape and save.

What I love is that we have generated enough buzz and concern around the story that a high end, four star (literally) winery has been forced to release a statement about a 7 year old news clip. Good for us.

I'll tell you what I told Howard...

Within two seconds of the chubby chick’s fall, I knew what had happened to her. Simply put, she got the wind knocked out of her. The dead give away was the fact that she said she couldn't breath, but was yet moaning. Her solar plexus was having spasms, causing her to lose control of your breathing until it relaxes. Having had the wind knocked out of myself a couple of times, I recognized it immediately. I would assume didn't get hurt to any serious extent, she just got a little scare (from not being able to breath). BTW, the video is still hilarious!
