Slipknot was the worst, that was going on around the time i joined. Every day at least 5-8 Slipknot threads were created.

First time i heard them i didnt know wut they looked like. and i still dont care about their image . i just dig their tunes.

XD Metallica are emo too, you know. Remember all that make-up and whatnot they wore for the Until It Sleeps video? Hell, I have a poster in my room of the band right now from the Load/Reload era and they look like what people would call 'aged emos'.

Still, I think that Avenged Sevenfold or A7X or whatever the hell you want to call them would be a lot, and I mean a LOT better if their singer didn't sound so annoying. First he was a whiny screamer, now he's a whiny singer. I'm telling you, the guy just ain't fit for vocals at all. If anything he sounds more to me like some distressed boy band singer with a lump in his throat and a clothespin on his nose.

whiny screams? wtf? on waking the fallen his screams were...screams...

as for his vocals, i know he got vocal surgery and had to take vocal lessons, and on city of evil he was kind of whiny. live, however, he's a much better singer and i think he should (for the next album) sing like he does live rather than how he did on city of evil
