:D
I think Poland will be out w/ a key midfeilder, Kosowski from hamsting injury or something. But yes, I have faith in Poland. I already have my jersey on and cannot wait for this fucking game! The fans will be so fucking crazy! Should be very suspensful. :bigwink:
The game's gonna be mental. Germany should win it, but the game could be overshadowed by the psycho fans.

2-0 Germany, Poland played like shit last time and if Germany can get it's defence together, they shouldn't have much of a problem.

It is 65 minutes in and it is still 0-0. This is one of the more better games I have seen this World Cup. I'll be back to post if some more scores. I still think Germany is going to win though.
WHoooo! Germany scores in the 90th minute!

Man, what a way to lose for Poland. They played so hard in this game and end up losing in stoppage time. They sent 3 guys on Odonkor to stop him from making the cross, that was a big mistake. Just send 1 and at most 2 guys and the rest go in front of the net. I was pulling for the Poles. It's going to be very difficult for Poland to make it out of this group. They have to hope Costa Rica defeats Ecuador. They then have to beat Costa Rica in their last game, Ecuador lose to Germany and have a good enough gool difference to advance. There is still a chance, but they will have to forget about this game completely.

Amazing how Germany won. Poland almost got the 0-0, but well... anyway, Germany was still close on several instances...
Well, Germany is almost on the second phase, unless something terrible happens...

I still cant believe my eyes. I was watching this game without even sitting down once I was so nervous. Artur Boruc was such an amazing (and lucky) goalie this game. Did you see the 2 shots one after another that both hit the top crossbar?!?! I was almost crying.
I'm still hoping that Polska can make it, but it's improbable :wah: :wah:

After that red card poland was doomed germany just kept pouring it on and of course one finally managed its way in. How bout those 2 of the cross bar then the one that didnt count? I was so ready for a goal by then

I thought this year ties are decided by whoever won the game between the two tied nations. In this case, Ecuador would move on because they defeated Poland.
Although, I do hope I am wrong because, although I'm not Polish, I think they deserve to move on. Their goalkeeper was INCREDIBLE, and made many key saves during the match. They did, however, get lucky when Germany hit the crossbar twice in a row.

Nice one Germany, unlucky Poland but you posed very little threat throughout the match and the scoreline flatters you. Could have easily turned out like the Spain game.

I agree, I'm Polish and i'm very proud of how they played, even though their going home they really showed heart in this game. In a way i hope Janas was right with taking the young players, maybe now that some of them have been at the world cup they'll understand that so much of the game is pshycological and that u can never under estimate your opponent. Germany played well and they really deserved the win, but again good job Poland. I just can't believe how luck was gainst us this tournament.....now time to wait for qualifyings and do this all over again.....gezz i get so emotional about soccer, i couldn't sit for the last 15 mins of the game....

In my scenario, Ecaudor, Costa Rica and Poland would each have 2 losses and 1 win (3 pts). Then it goes to goal difference. You might be right if there is only 2 teams tied, the winner of the two would advance.

from my understanding it's like this...for example. If Costa Rica wins tomorrow 1-0 and equador loses to Germnay and then Poland wins against costa rica 3-0 than both Poland and Costa Rica will have 1 win and 2 losses and both will have the same about of goals (3) but since Poland will win against Costa Rica than Poland will Advance..

I believe that is correct. If the goal difference is identical, then they decide who advances by head to head results. Poland still have a chance.

I blame Janas and his fucking 4-5-1 for losing Ecuador. There was no reason for that.
As for Germany, he (Janas) picked a good starting lineup . He should have made substitutions earlier, Brozek especially, he has been awsome recently. Also he should of left Zewlakow on as he has been play great. The most impressive player so far has been Jelen though, wow. He has been creating most all of the scoring chances in both games and even the freindly's before the world cup. I don't know, it was all down hill after Smolarek and that fucking red card. Also no Kosowski, he is our best MF IMO, it could've been a lot different. We played a great game though, we played with lots of heart, more so then the Germans.
It just fucking KILLED me on the inside after seeing that fucking German score, I have been fucking upset the whole day now. I can't wait to see my team play one more game before we go home. How depressing :wah: It's funny how Germany's best player is POLISH, KLOSE you fucking joke wanna be krout fucker.

Everyone has there own opinions. Klose makes most scoring oppurtunites, by far. Especially in that game. Ballack was just fouling a lot. He is overrated. haha

Great game.
That red card was total bullshit, but Germany deserved the win. No offense to Poland, Baruc and the rest of Poland played great, but Germany had so many chances on goal. I felt satisfied when Germany scored. This was one of the best matches of the World Cup so far and this is coming from an American.

If he was Polish, he would be playing for Poland obviously.
He is German of Polish Descent ;)
Edit: Germany dominated the whole game.
From the 30th minute on, I had the impression that the Polish wanted to hold the 0:0.
Thank God the better team won that night, And the defense was extremly improved.
Next one, please!

no, he considers himself Polish first than German, there was a good article on both(Klose and Podolski) of them on fifas website, and they were saying how they didn't know how they'd react to playing against Poland. Podolski has always admited he feels more Polish than German, but unfrotunetly Poland wasn't willing to offer him a spot on the team and Germnay was and once u play an international match with another country u can never play with any other country.

Well, everything Podolski and Klose have ever achieved in their lifes, they have achieved it because they spend basically their whole life in Germany.
They are not good football players because they were born in Poland, they are good football players because they went to German football programs from infancy on.
In Germany, there are hundred thousands of people of Polish decent, and when 50.000 of them are useless umemployed alcoholics, noone in Poland screams for them to come back and be "Polish".
But when surprisingly one or two of those immigrants turns out to be extremly talented in some way, all Polish are screaming for them to come back.
It doesn't work that way my friend.
Lukas Podolski didn't start to play for Germany yesterday, he is playing for German youth selections since he was 16.
And Miro Klose didn't look in that game like he didn't want to score against Poland, if you ask me.
Besides, it's much harder to get a permanent spot in the German national team than in the Polish one. Obviously, they prefer to "maybe" play for Germany than having a guaranteed starting position in the Polish team. Speaks for itself.
