the album Big Calm by Morcheeba is a fantastic sunny summer album. beautiful, mellow, grooving and uplifting. get it.

Maybe some desert rock, like Kyuss.
Gardenia, Phototropic and 50 Million Year Trip (Downside Up) are pretty cool songs, but they might not be 'chill' enough for your mix tape.
