I've just come to a recognition as to just how great these guys were, which says a lot considering they only made one album. I've been listening to their one and only album Say Hello 2 Heaven (S/T) quite a bit lately and I've got to say it's a really great album. Every single track on that album is a masterpiece, and Pushin' Forward Back is a very underrated song, even if it is the shortest. Cornell's vocals are also very astonishing on here. I'll be writing a review for the album very soon, which I may post up on this forum if I ever get the chance.

Discuss.

I've only heard Hunger Strike, Reach Down an Wooden Jesus, and they're all pretty good. Reach Down is an excellent jam song, but I still prefer Soundgarden to them. Chris Cornell did some excellent vocal work in Temple of the Dog.

They're more of a project than a band.

And they're more of a tribute than a project.

Then made this record in memory of the lead singer of Mother Love Bone when he died.

And yes...it's an amazing record. It's like an allstar record that was made before they were considered allstars, very good stuff

As it would appear you have beaten me to it... touché

I like Andrew Wood and mother love bone better than anything pearl jam put out. Thats saying alot because I love Pearl Jam. Its a fact, did you know that not only was TotD dedicated to Andrew Wood, but so was Alice in Chains' Facelift? its a fact.
