Using a PC to route an internet connection...possible?

I have a ps2 slim, broadband ready, but ideally i don't want to have to get the wireless adapter for it or move it to where the router is, upstairs. is there any way to take the internet connection from my pc (which is right next to the ps2 and easily connected via ethernet cable or usb) and bridge it or route it to the ps2?

If I understood correctly, just unconnect the ethernet cable from your computer, and plug it into your PS2.

anyway, i figured it out. i used "internet connection sharing" to allow other computers to use this one for access, then set up a "network" that was really just the ps2 plugged into the computer. works fine, though.

EDIT: i did have to use something called a "crossover" ethernet cable, and not having one, and not wanting to spend money on one, i cut apart a spare cable lying around and re-soldered the 8 tiny wires in the right configuration. i'm handy like that.
