I saw a alink about genpets on the elinks.

If this is, in fact, a real product that will hit the markets, I am deffinately buying one. But I am skeptical of whether these will ever exist.

I sent an email to them saying:
"I hope I have sent this email to the correct address, but I have a few
general questions about the genpets.

Will the actually walk around? Can they become inured? Do they have
a beating heart? Can they hurt people? Do they recognize and express
love towards specific human beings, other genpets or animals? Do they
reproduce? Can the surpass their one or three year life span? Will
the price be in the tens, hundreds, or thousands of USD? How tolerant
are they to the elements such as cold warm and wet or dry? Do they
amuse themselves? Where are they "manufactured"? Can you teach them
things? How intelligent are they?

I am sorry for the long list of questions, but I am absolutely
thrilles with this idea and I will most certainly by one when they are
available. Thank you so much in advanced for answering any of these
questions."

I will post the answers as soon as they reply.

Does anyone know anything about the price or eta?

Does anyone know if it is a joke, or a scam?

Well it seemed like a great idea, I would still love to own one, but they are in fact fake.

You know what I mean. Genetically mutated weird things. I know you can commercialize life to some degree as in pets and shit, but not genetic freaks.
