As first reported by Sportsnet, the Panthers traded Luongo and defenceman Lukas Krajicek along with a sixth-round draft pick to Vancouver in exchange for Bertuzzi, defenceman Bryan Allen and goaltender Alex Auld.

Vancouver finally has some decent goaltending.

Luongo is a sick goalie, I would never trade him.

It's not a bad move for either team. Florida wanted Luongo long term but Luongo wouldn't sign until next year, which he would be an unrestriced free agent. Florida didn't want to take the risk and did this trade, which I find pretty sweet because I'm a Vancouver fan.

Also, Alex Tanguay to Calgary and Jordan Leopold to Colorado during the entry draft going on now. Calgary's got some scoring!

Looks like a good trade for both teams so far, Colorado cleared up some cap room and got a needed defensemen, Calgary got a great scorer.

As a Colorado fan I love Tangs, I will miss him but I see what the team really needs. Hope he enjoys Calgary.
