Apparently, the least attractive of all the matches of this World Cup's phase.

Switzerland has showed that they aren't really an easy team and Ukraine seem to be gathering strengh since they got owned by Spain by 4-0...

What are your predictions?

I'll go for Ukraine. Watched the first 10 minutes where the Swiss had the majority of the possession but that could've changed.

Decided not to watch this match. I'm looking at the match info on fifaworldcup.com and it seems Switzerland is dominating with more shots on goals and have the advantage in possession. Might turn it on when a goal is finally scored.

Ukraine go through on penalties. The Ukrainian goalie made 2 saves and the other shot hit the post. It was a boring game, but at least we got to see penalty shootout in the end. Swiss play good defense and that helped them get this far, but missing those penalties did them in, in the end. Good luck to Ukraine.

after watching the italy game waiting for this one to start i was going to give the winner of this one a solid chance at beating italy. but holy shit, this was the worst game of the cup thus far. I see italy getting by ukraine the same way they beat australia and the same way the salvaged against US.

Ugh, penalty kicks, worst way to end a game, bar none. And what was worse, my mom was sitting with me (waiting for the remote so she could watch "real" - ha ha - TV), and kept asking me about how penalty kicks work. It's not rocket science, woman, each team gets 5 shots and whoever makes the most wins. She's sitting here asking me, "Well why did that goalkeeper dive that way if the guy shot the ball the other way ... "

anyone who likes penalties for a win is your basic american with no feel for the game...

when theres so much skill involved in scoring a goal in normal time, why take it all away from the better team and set both teams up with goals that anyone can score... its a stupid way to win... i cant wait til they get rid of them...

Most boring match ever, but that's what you get when two solid teams who are good in general play eachother. They've got good players at every place, but no excellent players to make the difference, hence the 0-0. Magnin was the most exciting player of the game and he is a full back:eek:
