In the description, it says something about the players wearing cups. I was expecting some guy to get hit in the jewels with the ball or a foot. It actually looked like the ball hit his hand and broke his wrist. I'm not 100% sure because I'm on my work computer and it's pretty crappy (the video is jumpy), but it looked as if his hand flopped around right after he got hit. He also never really grabbed his crotch area after he got hit, he grabbed his wrist.

Does anyone else see that? :confused:

Um im a soccer player and he definatly did not get kicked in the balls with a foot or ball. Im actually a goalie and what happened to him has happened to me many times- just as the ball was hit the player tried to pull his wrist away. By doing so the ball basically creates pressure on the wrist as he pulls it away, which in turns bends the wrist backwards (or to the side to far) ie so that it sprains- or in the case probably fracture a few bones.
People that dont play, in soccer for the play to end you must either have a ref stop play or your team (or the opposing one) kick the ball out of bounds (which ends the play). So by sitting/falling down the player let the ref and the players on the field know he was hurt and that they needed to kick the ball out and stop the play, this way the trainer/medic can help the injured player.

Also in the video a guy filming says, "oh its broken... you can see it- you can see it". about 3/4 throught the tape.

That just sounds bad...I've never sprained my wrists or broken a bone, so I don't know how bad it feels, but whatever happened on that video looked like it hurt.

They changed the description. It went from soccer players wearing cups to something about looking at his wrist.:)
