Yeah, tomorrow is this match on the Quarter Finals.

I think that Italy has definitely the easiest of all games in this phase and obviously should win. However, underestimating your rival is not a good thing and may result in an unexpected lost game.

Anyway, what are your predictions?

I think that the game is going to be interesting, not that fun, though. Italy is going to be the offesive team this time and Ukraine is going to go for the "counter attack" scheme...

However, Italy's offensive is quite powerful, so, I think that Italy will score the 1-0 and after that, Ukraine will have to attack and that's when Italy is going to take advantage of the situation and put the 2-0 against Ukraine.

And most likely, I think that Italy will score a 3rd goal as the result of Ukraine's dissapointment in the game. And it will end like that...

Ukraine definately has a chance to win this game, as Italy hasn't really impressed me that much. Ukraine has been on a good stretch since the qualifying round, winning their group. Ukraine will definately have to score first, as it will be very difficult to come back from a goal down. I think they have a chance, they got the players (Shevchenko, Rebrov, etc.) to pull it off. I hope they do it.

Well, I gotta agree that Ukraine has to score first in order to have a good chance to pass.

The other good chance for them would be on penalty kicks, but I don't see the game going into that stance.

Pulling for Ukraine. Italy had a tough time with Australia and Ukraine proved themselves over a good Switzerland team.

Just another step-over game for Italy, but look to see their offense struggle once again(one of the weakest for Italy I've seen in a while.) Once they reach semi-finals, say goodnight!

Italy for the win! Ukraine has got some nice players, but Italy's got a better goalkeeper (Buffon vs. Shojkovsky (spelling?), a better defense, better midfield and better attack, altough the attackers haven't really impressed me this time. Toni should get his act together!

Am I the only one who thinks that it's pathetic that this game is being shown on ESPN2 while women's golf is being shown on ESPN?

Well, Germany vs. Italy on the semifinals. That game is gonna be interesting... both teams have three championships, both will look to get into the Final and see if they can get a revenge versus Brazil (the most probable opponent in the Final for the winner), and both, well, have history between them... Spain 1982 comes to mind when Italy defeated Germany 3-1...

I really don't think that comment was necessary...

I expected Italy to win, and an Italy win was what I got. So Germany will play Italy ... that should be a very, very, VERY good game.

I expect Italy to do much better against Germany than people think, their defense is looking as solid as ever, Nesta will more than likely be back, Buffon is in suberb form and Toni and Totti are starting to come good, maybe their peaking at the right time.

Should be a great game.

Italy are now 23 games unbeaten. They beat Germany 4 - 1 in a friendly on the 1st of march and they have only conceded one goal in the WC so far too and that was the freak own goal against the USA. Ok so it was only a friendly against Germany but I think Italy will be tough opponents.
