I feel REALLY bad for all the people who were laughing hysterically in the crowd. There were many adults that just kept on laughing, like it was the funniest thing they had ever heard. I mean pity laughs I understand. Id feel kinda bad for her, especially if I was in the front row, so I might chuckle. But the people who couldnt stop themselves just gotta feel like complete dumbasses when they rethink what they saw.

Yeah I couldn't finish it.

edit: AH HA SkimI3oarder you got me!

I'd like to think Eric was being sarcastic, but he and many other people here loved that dude that put a bunch of songs together and danced to them...what was that "The History of Dance"? That wasn't funny either, that was just a douchebag taking advantage of the fact that if any guy does any kind of stupid dance, women instinctively put their arms up and clap going "whoo hooo!" Try it next time you're at a party where no one is dancing, start doing something stupid and cliche like that asshole did and watch how fast women do the "whoo hooo!" thing.

You remember when you were a little kid and you saw Robin Williams on a talk show? How he would just go CRAAAZY and do all these manic impersonations of big-time celebrities and sassy drag queens and 'soul brothas' and like 42 other people in three and a half minutes? And the audience would go wild, and you'd be in stitches, too, and you'd sit there and think to yourself "How does he do it?" But then a few years later, you saw him again on some show, and for some reason, the histrionics didnt so much scream funny as they screamed sweaty desperation. And the host and the audience were very obliging, but clearly kind of waiting for the guy to leave the set as soon as possible. And for some reason, the phrase "If you cant blind them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit" kept coming into your head. Well, remember that feeling, folks, cause youre going to have it again in 5 years when you watch those reruns of the Dane Cook Special.

In conclusion: Dane Cook sucks.

You idiots obviously don't get the joke. Its funny BECAUSE it was so bad. It's so horrible its histerical. Once again, great humor goes over most ebaumer's heads because they're too young to recognize where the joke is.

Usually when comedians do that there's actually some kind of intelligence to it and you can tell that, even though it's really bad, they still worked on making it enjoyable. Some fat slob have a seizure and making barn yard animal noises is not funny.

...actually I think everyone understands that concept, but that still doesn't make it funny. I don't even look at the front page anymore because of videos like this. Not even remotely entertaining.

I was actually just thinking the same thing earlier today about Robin Williams... How his entire bit is simply jumping around and shouting in goofy voices. And like me, I'll bet his audiences don't even have a clue what the fuck he's talking about, but it doesn't really seem to matter. They love those silly voices.

I do have to disagree about Dane Cook though. I definitely think he's an overrated comedian, but unlike Robin Williams, I do think he has at least some comedic talent.

Oh course it's funny. It's not like she was being serious.
Oh, I disagree completely - I think she WAS being serious - meaning that she wasn't doing a "Hey, aren't I a lousy comic?" routine, she just IS plain old lame. I think she was TRYING to be funny and failing miserably. Which in it's own way is entertaining. (Unless Junkman wasn't being serious in his quote? Can't handle so many layers of possible-being-seriousness...)

I also think a lot of the audience laughter was either mercy laughs, or people who thought she just looked & sounded ridiculous doing the animal sounds - or possibly even friends of hers who think she's funny and probably talked her into doing it in the first place. (Does anyone know what it was she appeared on? Could be a local talent show or benefit performance, and she's the funniest person they know...)

I like the fact that after she first does the dog sounds, the audience kind of applauded - and she gives this little smiley look that says "Okay, now I've got 'em!"

And did I imagine it, or did she keep checking her watch? Geez, even SHE can't wait until her set is over!

Right, because God forbid she get them in the wrong order, it might ruin the whole effect! (Wow, if that's true that's WORSE than checking her watch! Pathetic!!)

I agreee, I think she was being serious. Even if she wasn't she's still not even remotely funny. Some people have a wierd sense of humour, like the people who think the new episodes of the simpsons are actually funny. Intelligent humour, my ass! :dunce:
