We have the know how as to tracking ppl who are illegaly downloading music & the nerve to even file suits against these ppl for these henious crimes. Why is it that the same amount of energy isnt put into the child porn internet rings? It's sad the things that some deem so much more important & as usual it comes down to money- if only we had a monetary vested interest in our children- then maybe something might be done.

I received two cds for Christmas but I havent bought a cd in longer than i can remember and I probably never will again. Thieves stealing from theives. Its funny how people try to justify stealing music with such stunning arguments like, "you cant put a price on art". Artists need to make a living too and they should be able to do whatever the hell they want with their creations. Stop being such a pussy and admit you are stealing. I do and am. I know cds are over priced as well which is why I said theives stealing from thieves.

As for the porn ring I agree with you Mani but as stated in this thread it doesnt cost compaines billions of dollars. Morality is worthless in our flaud corporate market because its not cost effective.

The government does screen the internet for that kind of stuff but its not very effective. Although alot of the porno comes from other countries as well where child porn may not be illegal as well.

Yah I totally agree :( Most people dont even stop to think about it though because their are so many other distractions to keep us occupied. I mean really, child porn is so fucking horrid the fact that someone is capable of producing it blows my mind... then again their is alot of bad stuff in the world so we can just lump this with the others on the "Things to fix list"

It is human nature to try and obtain/achieve something for as little effort as possible. Piracy will always exist.

People are stupid, they complain about paedophiles yet if a political party were to state that they would raise taxes to fund police investigation into child abuse no-one would vote for them because of the tax rise. People want low taxes and maximum benefits, in essence something for nothing. It is human nature and the sooner people become more intelligent and stop bickering amongst themselves the sooner they will look out for each other and become reasonable.
