I'm not sure where this would go, In the movies or the music section. Well song came in first so it must have to do with music. The song I that was the best in a movie is when Bohemian Rahpsody was playing in the car of Wayne's World. Me and my freind listen to that song all the time in his car.
So what do you think is the best song in a movie is?

It all really depends on whats going on in the movie when the song starts playing. The song should be able to enchance the scene to make it more emotional and just make it better altogether.

I like Clint Mansell's music from Requiem For A Dream, being in The Two Towers preview. Although it wasn't in the actual movie, it made the preview of the movie seem so epic.

Fight Club - Pixies - Where is my Mind. The scene when all the buildings are blowing up. After that I was in love with that song.
I don't think anything can top bohemian rhapsody though. I have to be careful when I'm driving cause my head will just start banging on that part . . . there's not stopping it!

The cover of "Mad World" at the end of Donnie Darko.
Also, though I hate the song, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" kinda' set the tone for that "Girl Next Door" trailer.

I though the use of songs in Office Space was great. When Peter walked into the office to "Damn, it feels good to be a gangster" it fit the scene beautifully. And when they were destroying the fax machine with the bat and it was playing "Die motherfucker, die motherfucker, die!!" , it was perfect.
If anyone know that name of the "Die motherfucker" song and who does it, post it. I want to download it.

LOL!! I love that part in Office Space!
Dazed and Confused, I like the song they have in the beginning "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith, it just suits that movie perfectly.
And Clockwork Orange gave an all new meaning to "Singing in the rain"

"die motherfucker die"
preformed by twiztid
one of the icp if i recall.
i turned that scene into a screen saver for the longest time...
itgot a little elss funny whena janitor we used to make fun of "have you seen my mop, i can't find my mop, and i haven't recieved a paycheck in several weeks, has anybody seen my mop?" for being miltonlike, burned the building down...

I'm gonna have to agree with Sick Girl. The end of Fight Club with the buildings blowing up was fucking cool. Good song choice too.
And any race/car movie which uses "Cake - Going the Distance."

there isn't any better song from a movie than the Shaft theme, that song rocks, and is completely perfect for the character

In the movie Manhunter which was the first screen appearence by the charater Hanibal Lector(not played by Anthony Hopkins by the way) they played In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly. All I can say is that song seemed to be written for serial killers.

Stuck in the Middle with you - Reservoir Dogs
The scene where Mr. Blonde is dancing around as he slices up the cop.
My thoughts exactly. Mr. Blonde looks so cool as he does his litte dance before the "ear" scene.

"Stuck in the Middle" had nothing to do with that scene in Reservoir Dogs, and yet it was the perfect choice. I listen to that song all the time now since I've seen Reservoir Dogs.
The second best has to go to Monty Python and the Life of Brian when everybody sings "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" at the end when they're crucified.
And of course, the theme from Mission Impossible. That one really gets you pumped.
Philadelphia by Neil Young really fit in at the end of Philadelphia, the movie with Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. I watched it in health class again and it's pretty sad.
Saving Private Ryan music also fit.

I would also go with 'Stuck in the middle with you' In reservoir dogs, that song is so great in that scene yet its not the most revelant.
Another song I love not such a big song incorporated in but The songs from snatch, especially the one at the end that corresponds to the fire of his mothers caravan/ the trashing of the casino - Angel By Massive Attack. Such a great sondtrack song.

Every song in every scene of Kill Bill vol2. QT is awesome.
Yea that basically wins.
I do like Schindler's List theme though. John Williams is an amazing Composer and the song goes amazingly well with the movie.
But Kill Bill is such a [something] movie(i don't think you can put words down on paper to describe it). it needs crazy music. and o does it have crazy music.

Everyone took the ones I was going to say except for one:
"Wise Up" - By Aimee mann in the scene from Magnolia. Beautiful scene in a sad way. In fact, every song used in that movie was perfect.

I liked most of the music in My Big Fat Greek Wedding but the one that got me was the brief piano piece at their wedding when they learn her dad bought them their first house. Usually music in big emotional scenes is melodrmatic and overdone but this one seemed to work. I have the soundtrack and I get tears just from the song as it's so well connected to the scene.

" In the City" by Joe Walsh, from "The Warriors"
Yes!!!! Great song that wonderfully fits the flick. Choice!
And someone already took "Don't Stop Me Now" in Shaun of the Dead, so that knocks two off my list...
But for some more:
"Miserlou" by Dick Dale at the beginning of Pulp Fiction. Awesome!
"Amoreena" by Elton John during the opening of Dog Day Afternoon, with the images and the mood of the seventies; it's perfect.
"Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai in Napoleon Dynamite, one of the greatest dance sequences of all time.
"When The Man Comes Around" during the opening credits of the Dawn of the Dead remake. One of the things the movie actually did right!
and finally
"Sophisticated Bitch" by Public Enemy, used during the hilarious "Old Man" montage in Jackass: The Movie!
