I dont know, i played the first one when it first came out and it was awesome, then i played the second one just a few days ago and it wasnt as great as i remember, although it was probably a better game. I think if i had played it when it first came out then i probably would have said invisable war but for how much fun i had i would have to say number 1.

Was anyone else dissapointed by the lack of improvement from 1-2?

For me, i think they are both good, probebly the first one a little more but its probebly the best game ever. i just got the 2nd one, i don't know why i didn't get it sooner! Brand New FOR 10$ ! :D

they were both pretty good. i just hate the shared ammo thing. but i liked the first one better. felt more real. and jc denton was way cooler before he merged w/ helios.

I LOVED Deus Ex. One of my favourite games of all time.

My favourite level was probably all the bits in Hong Kong.

I also liked the glitch where if you shot someone in the crotch with a tranq dart it killed them outright. Very useful if you needed a silent kill and were low on ammo or something.

I can probably beat this on Realistic in one night by now. Definately one of the best Stealth FPS games of all time. The only thing I hated was the inventory, couldn't carry enough most of the time, even though you always had way too much ammo.

I'll make that my official gripe. You couldn't carry a lot of guns, but the guns you could carry were always overflowing with ammo. Not hard at all to feel like you have infinite ammo.

i didn't mind the inventory, but i personaly like a weight system better.
the only thing that bugged me was the gep gun was sooo huge and sooo cool. overall my favorite was the small pump shotgun. but for me i was always runnin low on ammo, blastin too many fools

i used that nano sword thing with the stealth upgrades... so many ways to play this game

Never played the first game, but I was really pleasantly surprised by the second one. Overall a very entertaining game with an interesting climax. I just wish there are more bio-upgrades (or whatever they were called) to get, I maxed out fairly early on.

I just wish they'll make another one, in the game they are always talking about some new "dark age" so maybe if they make a new one there won't be shared ammo or anything cause like there won't be any technology like they had in the first one, it might not be true but like who cares, sad part is they might not make another one since ion storm is out of business but i hope the do! :(
