taken at mygnrforum.com

Ok, so I was like one of the first in line(for the concert) with some other dudes, then suddenly 2 guys came.
And after some talking they said they were soundcheck people and shit for the band(wich is true cus we saw em later at the show)
But one of them actually had helping GN'R with Chinese Democracy since 99'
And he told us som stuff.
Like all CD songs we have heard so fare (in the 06' shows like BETTER (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ax-CIfKt1-E) and TWAT (http://youtube.com/watch?v=u1rL-I9V9fU)) will come on the album.
And he says he is best friends with Tommy

I asked "Have you ANY idea of when the album is gonna come out?"

and he said something like: "Axl realeses it when its ready, and he looks ready to me" (something like that)

We couldent geth much more out of him.

Ok, so for the next part, its about Velvet Revolver:

He said he had done work with them to, and was close friends to some of them, specially Dave Kushner.
And he said weiland is a fucking whining bitch, lol!

BUT, some dude asked him about their new album (liberated, or something) and then he said something quite wierd. first he said: "what, you guys havent heard it??" and I was like "heard what?"
Him: "they're breaking up, because, everyone in the band has thier own managere, and the CD producers(or something)and all the FOUR managars couldent come up with any agreedments o whatsoever. So Velvet Revolver is history) And he said that they havent got ONE song recorded, and that the stuff the guys have toled us about have 10 songs ready is bullshit

Just thaught I should say it, if theres any VR fans here........

OK, and I just needed to ask him about Axl n' Slash maybe talking, and he said "yes, they have been talking and hanging out, not any reunion things tough(wich is fine)" and the same deal with Duff.

So, I dunno what to belive here, the guy may be full of shit, but hes story working witth the band looks very true."

i'll buy that for a dollar.

I never liked Velvet Revolver, and Axel is really overrated.

Slash has said many times in interviews that he has no plans of rejoining Axl with GNR, he said he hasnt even talked to Axl for years. VR is in the studio recording a new album right now, theyre not breaking up.

And Ill believe that Chinese Democracy is out when i see it on the shelves in stores, not a minute before.

edit: ahh thank you UG

Slash would reveal is that the LP is coming together naturally, and "it's not phony in any way, shape or form, and the band's whole-heartedly into it."

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. slash has talked to axl. And Chinese Democracy (when it comes out this year) will make anything Velvet Revolver did, or will ever do, sound like just another Slash’s Snakepit album. Remember when V.R. was going to save rock? Didn’t happen, but Democracy may just succeed where they failed. When this comes out, Slash and co. are going to be veiwed as throwbacks, and after hearing this I honestly wouldn’t want a classic Guns reunion. The band sounds great in GnR 2006 to a T. So much so, that when this comes out, people are going to say, “Slash, Duff, and Andy McCoy…er, I mean Izzy who?”

Chinese Democracy is going to be as remembered as Appetite For Destruction, and will leave a legacy in pop music as well as pop culture.

I thought Chinese Democracy was out already. :confuzed:

Goddam, Me, Pat the Baker and MiKe could have put out at least 319 killer albums given that much time in the studio.
