Just as the title says. I am confused as fuck as how I am supposed to get emulators to work.

Nintendo 64... I downloaded it off of Romnation, then I open it and zip it, then when i try to open it again...it wants me to zip it again.

Hmm... that sounds like more of a problem with the archive software than the emulator.

Maybe try downloading the emulator from somewhere else. I use Project 64 for N64 emulation, it works ok. N64 emulation is glitchy as hell no matter what you run it on.

Oh, nevermind. It zipped it and sent the zipped files to a folder, and I found the folder. Now to only find some games...any ideas where I can find some?

I don't think we're allowed to post direct links to ROM sites, but emuparadise has a ton of N64 roms.

Though there are some porn ads...so use a popup blocker. However, I've never gotten a virus from this site. But downloading ROMs is always a risk, in my opinion.

It's not a risk, they're completely difference filetype that you won't mistakenly run.

Don't open up anything with extensions like .exe , .pif , .scr , etc..

I haven't gotten any virus's or what not although if you do want to help the site out and vote. The voting banner is a hentai ad.

Anyways I like it cus I finally got working Sega CDs roms from there, haven't tried their N64s but I'd have to assume they work too.

project64 1.6 and www.emuparadise.org is what i use

if you're having trouble with a specific game, google with this syntax:

(game name)(project 64)(sound, video or rsp)(any details)
