One of my mates said that there was a NFL manager game coming out or out but i havent seen it in any shops. I was wandering if any of you know of it/have played it and what you think of it.

NFL Head Coach.....That's the only one I know that you can manage a team.

Yeah, i play "Football Manager 2006" which is a brilliant "soccer" manager game and i dont see why someone hasnt made something similar for the NFL after all, the NFL offers far more depth in tactics compared to football.

Yes, its out now. You draft, have meatings, say what they will practice, who wil practice, how. Call aganets, etc. Heard its organised so you can only call at such and such time and whatnot, kind of a pain.
Good potential, but not too fun

So you don't actually play the game, you just manage the team? Sounds a bit boring.

you'd think so but the satisfaction of developing a team which wins trophy after trophy is surprisingly high, not to mention extremely addictive (think Diablo 2 addictive). It would be very odd with American football though, cause the two sports are so different, in football you have a massive database with over 1000 clubs to choose from and thousands of players to choose from and scout whereas in yanky-egg-chasing there are only a few hundred players in the NFL so it might be a bit boring. still, i expect they could just drop it down to college level to get a wider range of data.
