Britney Spears is pop. Hilary Duff (while she's better than Britney) is also Pop. Putting Blink182 in the same category is a crying shame. I like "Punkish" better.

I don't have *one* favorite band, I'd have to list 10 probably.

That's interesting. 3 Doors Down seems out of place with the other 4. They aren't as "heavy" as the others.

Static-X ~ Rock
Element 80 ~ Rock
Godsmack ~ Rock
Staind ~ Rock
Hot Action Cop ~ 3 parts rock, 1 part hip hop, 1 part humor, 2 parts sex.

Music that sucks (imo, dont freak out):

- Pop, in any way, shape, or form.
- William Hung (But it's not about the music is it)
- The Offspring (If you consider yelling in front of a microphone for a good 5 minutes talent, then listen to these guys)
- Techno (Nobody listens to techno)
- Classical (zzzzzz....)
- Good Charloette (Granted, they have a few good songs, but it gets old after every pre-teen girl in your school has a tee-shirt with their name on it)

I like rap every now and then, the beat is good and the lyrics are inspriational. imo, there is no bad rap song.

Lacuna Coil is my favourite band. Yes, they have their first music video out, and I am so proud! It's called Heaven's A Lie, you can download it from their site at http://www.enterthecoil.com Of course as far as music video's go, (I hate to say) it sucks, but it's still my favourite bands first music video, so that makes up for it all! Their second one is on it's way. I'm so excited! Enough about that, and more on the next person who decides to post, which is this doofus here -->

Dream Theater (Progressive metal.).. I have a huge list of favorites, though..

YES!!!!!!! finally...someone mentions dream theater. they are, in my opinion, the greatest band of all time. theyre music is just so utterly brilliant its hard to explain. take metropolis for example. that song gives me siezure like shivers every time i hear it. on top of that, there songs never get old. i used to be a metallica guy but after listening to the s&m version of one about 50 times, it got boring, predictable, and simple. ive listened to metropolis atleast that much, finally free almost that much, and many others, and they never get old. the stuff that they do is incredible..especially with different musical times and everything. they are what rush wanted to be in that aspect. they are all so talented as well. petrucci is a genius at guitar (if not alittle full of himself, although it is rightfully so). he can play pretty much anything anyone else can play..except for those freaks like michael angelo and that romeo dude..but their music is just an intollerable wall of sound bombarding your ears. take that symphony x! portnoy is an incredible drummer in my opinion as well..better than neil peart for sure. maybe not better than bozzio, but better than peart. tom myung..great bass player..can do some cool shit..also plays some pretty cool rhythms in some songs too. john rudess..he has a hat with his name on it..need i say more? ah..and finally james labrie..in my opinion weakest link of the band..although he is still very good. if only they could clone bruce dickinson....they might as well name themselves the second coming..it would be utter musical perfection.

Hey, great to see that! I like them a lot too, my favorite band outside of North America. In my opinion, their drummer is one of the best anywhere. But you're right, that video is pretty bad. Here's the second. It's certainly an improvement on the first, and Cristina is looking good. :D She's certainly the best looking female musician who isn't doing pop music. This is my favorite song of theirs from the most recent album. I've never heard their earlier music.

I saw that! I havent had any time to grab a ticket, but I saw them in Rhode Island in January.
I'm wondering if they'd be as amazing as they were then, because it was only their 4th show into the tour so they were alive and crazy.
I could have died happy after that night.
