Hey I've recently really got into Blues music and have been listening to mostly just BB King. Does anyone have any suggestions for good blues music?

I don't know what exaclty would classify as blues.. but Ray Charles has some cool stuff... I think that would be along the lines of rock though...

Yeah I've got some of Ray Charles stuff and thats not what I'm really looking for. I'm looking for stuff with a blues guitar being played.

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, and Jimi Hendrix has a pretty awesome blues collection. I'm not sure if it's an album or not, but I downloaded a packaged called "Blues". It has really bluesy versions of his songs, and a few I've never heard before.

Led Zeppelin wrote some amazing blues. Robin Trower wrote music similar to Hendrix and he's awesome too. Don't forget BB King though if your just looking for blues guitar.

If you're looking for straight blues, get some John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson (RHCP covered him, he's very good), Hendrix, George Thorogood and Stevie Ray Vaughan. And of course, Clapton - Malted Milk is a lot of fun to play on guitar.
But if you're looking for more of a bluesy rock kind of thing, get Led Zeppelin, Cream, Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, Irish Coffee and Foghat

The only thing I have that's classified as blues in my Itunes is Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland, but I haven't listened to it yet, so I don't know how good it is.
And if Clapton is considered blues, get some Clapton. Get it even if he isn't blues though.

To add to my last post...
Get Raw Blues Power. It's a blues/shred album featuring Paul Gilbert (guitar virtuoso, known for his work in Racer X) and his uncle, Jimi Kidd.
This is definitely not traditional blues if that's what you're after, but it is an energetic album of skilled bluesy guitar sex.
If you listen to one song, listen to the 12 Days of the Blues.

Buddy Guy is pretty good
If you want a concert DVD get "Lightning in a Bottle" my blockbuster had it and it has some great blues
Check out an Eric Clapton album called "From The Cradle". It's full of great blues and amazing guitar playing.
I'm also a lover of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Anything he did is fuckin awesome.
