Ok, I was in EB Games the other day and I noticed that the 360 sells an intercooler..So have there been ALOT of problems with 360's overheating? Anyone here having these troubles? Should I buy one or is it just padding the bill? Sound investment or pocket draining uselessness?

Ok, that was more then a question; but they're related, so it counts.

Save your money. You just need to be responsible and turn it off when you aren't using it. It can be on for quite some time, but you don't need that cooler, it's uneeded and stupid.

Someone decided to cash in on all the stories about the 360. Don't buy it.

Don't buy the Xbox 360. Then you won't have to worry about it overheating.

you needa hang your powerbrick instead of letting it sit on your floor to overheat. when you have it hanged, make sure its not directly contacting the wall.

i don't know if this works better or not, i just heard a lot of 360 users mentioned this.

Mine works fine, not a problem with it. If you're not going to be playing the 360 for more than a week, unplug the power brick.

iv had an xbox 360 since january and havent had a problem. its worth the money. once my friend was playing my xbox 360 and fell asleep with it on and it endend up being on for more than 12 hours so u have nothing to worry about. i read that only 2 to 4 percent of the xboxs will have any problems at all.

dont hang it thaat makes it worse. at least thats what i read. and if you choose to play with ur xbox standing up then never tilt it over to put it on its side while there is a disk in it and spining. itll leave a nasty ring around the side of the cd

I just recently got a 360(beginning of summer) and it is stored in a fairly enclosed area and it doesnt get that hot. Even when i left it running for like 5 hours plus. I wouldnt spend money on it unless your extremely paranoid. But most of the newer 360's dont have as many problems.

Ah, yes...I know a few people who got the Ring of Death on their copies of Oblivion...that sucks, considering the game is 65 dollars...

When I get my 360, that crap is staying horizontal.
