Ncaa '07

Do any of you guys have the new NCAA? What do you think of it? I'm debating whether or not I should just buy it on Xbox or shell out the cash and get a Xbox 360 and get it for that.

I'm most curious about the online play, so if anyone has it for 360 (or i guess regular Xbox too), giving me an idea of how many people are playing it at a time would be helpful.

Got it for PS2 the day it came out. Like, half my football team got it at midnight. Anyways, its fucking fun as usual. I think its the first time in a few years EA has actually made an improvement on the game. Much more Madden like.

Nebraska is also freaking crazy in this game. Go EA.

i played the demo. its hard to critique because they ar eonly 1 minute quarters and no instant replay. but, i reallyyyyy like the passing game. the way the receivers cath the ball, it looks like they actually see the ball into their hands. they have bette rmomentum physics, so theres no jittery guys changing directions easily. the jukes are better, like 2k5 jukes nad not madden instantly jump 3 yards jukes. it played pretty smooth, but ea still lacks in presentation.

but i havent gotten the real game, so yea

Okay, do NOT buy a 360 for that game alone, or you might be dissapointed. If you're going to buy a 360, be sure there are plenty of other games that you might like. EA is using a different game engine for their football titles on next-gen systems, and you might not like how it turned out. You may as well get it on xbox. Then, if it turns out that you get a 360, rent it, and if you like it, trade in the xbox version for the 360 version.

I just rented it today for 360, so I don't have much of an opinion on it right now, but I can already tell it feels different. I'll post about it more after I get a few games under my belt.

oh sit thats cool, btw the tackles in ncaa for 360 look better in my opinion, but some are from the old games, still the game is worth every penny in my book, im 7-1 online woooot

Alright cool..I've played the game on the 360 and ps2. i liked the ps2 version a lot. i know that im not really a fan of the controls for 360, and i dont know why ea took out some features (like no reverses wtf?) but im thinking about doing what someone said earlier (get it for xbox, then if i get a 360 trade the xbox version in)

Im not all that impressed. The campus legend mode is less than spectacular. There are a few flaws. For some reason the AI's passing game is unstopable but they have no running game whatsoever.
Theres still the glitch where if you call a no huddle during multiplayer 75% of the time there will be an offside penalty:) I piss off my dad with this its great!

I was so excited when I read about the campus legend mode in xbox magazine, but guess what, the 360 verson doesn't fucking have it, but the old xbox version does.
