About time someone started a thread about this...I was going to but it takes way to much work to start a new thread...I was wondering the same thing...

Jeez, I was drinking some water and almost spit it out. That girl looked like she got thrown clear at the end.
Are they called 'rednecks' in the UK?

I think they were some of our stupid chavs.
Why were a bike helmet on top of your head? Its obviouslt not gonna do anything. The track suits give them away.
Just think that the Gene pool just got stronger :)

somehow i just knew the video was gonna end right after something happened and we weren't gonna see the aftermath. why do they do that??
please, video makers, get it in your heads right now that it is just as entertaining to see how bad people get hurt as it is to see them GET hurt.
it won't take anything away from the video if you DON'T edit out the 10 or even 5 seconds after the climax of your video. we need to know if we should mourn the death of stupid people, laugh at stupid people or cry for stupid people or vomit over any stupid people's broken bones or blood or exposed brain. if you make a video like this, you are not cool. you are not groovy. whoomp, there it ISN'T. you are not leaving anyone is suspense by doing this.
you are not a hollywood filmmaker with a wicked rad dope cliffhanger of a film.
because we all know there will never be a sequel. therefor, your video is only as half as good as it could be, should be, would be, might have been.

I agree, this can be very frustrating, and one wonders why they would stop shooting (it's NOT "filming", it's "shooting video"! Not that you said that, LDS, I was just pointing it out...) at that particular time - unless it was to help their friends - but it ends so abruptly! You would think they would run to their friends without bothering to shut the camera off.
Which makes me wonder if maybe it's not the video makers that leave those details out of the videos, but maybe soemone's editing it - someone who is hosting it on some other site. They post this "shortened" version for free on various (popular) outlets, then if you get curious and want to know what happened, you'd have to go to their (not-so-popular) website to see the "full version".
Granted, there are some holes in my theory (like how would they expect you to just happen to find their website, if you have no names or details to go by? I'm not saying it's a particularly well-organized plan!), but otherwise I can't think why anyone would edit out the endings like that (assuming they were there to start with) - certainly E-Baum's wouldn't edit them like that, would they? (They know we love the aftermath.)

in the video shooters defense, i once was shooting a video of my friend riding my dad's ski doo when he crashed it into my porch. my first reaction, for some weird reason, was to stop taping and run over there. i regret it to this day...

I hear you. It's very easy to judge people because of what we want to see on EBW; but at the time something happens, your first instinct is (probably) to help your friend, not make sure you get good footage for Ebaums World. Having said that, though -one could leave the camera rolling while they run to help (or turn it back on afterward, if indeed they thought to turn it off.)

Newflash: If you're video taping your friends, and something happens that could kill or seriously injure them, you've got things on your mind other than getting good footage you fucking retard.

That turned out A LOT worse than I was thinking it would. Hope they've learned their lesson. Physics pwned them good that time.

Miracle that neither of them smashed into the bike when they were twirling outside trying to hold on. Plus, it looks like both of them were thrown cleanly out without breaking any limbs in the process. The only damange that they'd sustain would be due to the subsequent fall, and unless there a brick wall just out of the camera's view, their injuries will be very slight. Could have turned out MUCH worse, to be sure.

i think terrorists did it though, true story.
and plus did anyone notice the guy in the background had an ak. and you could hear him wispering to his partner "pull it"

These statement show about as much understanding of physics as the people involved in this video demonstrated. With all that energy, hitting pretty much anything but air could do serious, irreparable harm... the ground, the asphalt, monkey bars, swing sets, other people, etc.

Hi, dipshit. First of all, the first two parts of my quote show that I understand the dangers of such a stupid fucking activity, I have no idea why you quoted them. They could have easily wrapped their arms around the bars and gotten them broken or smashed into the bike while they were twirling around, but they were lucky in that neither happened and the only thing that could seriously hurt them would be the fall.
Now, the fall itself could be serious in other situations since they ARE flying at a high speed, but let's look at where they are. In the background you can see that the different pieces of equipment in the playground each have their own tiled area(which for all we know could be rubber), and beyond that is grass. We can see that there isn't a brick wall behind the camera as there is no shadow, so we can surmise that at worst they would hit the tiled area and then roll or bounce again onto the grass. You can see in this picture that their arms aren't folded underneath them and are in no position to be broken upon contact with the ground.

So, we have a couple of braindead bitches with a serious bruise and/or a skinburn from sliding on the tiled area if it's rubber.
To suggest that I am as unintelligent as the people that carried out and filmed this event is, in my opinion, worthy cause for me to call you a worthless fuck, you worthless fuck.

This man speaks the truth.
And the video? Yeah what a couple of braindead bitches is right. Really...whether or not they got injured is not the issue. The fact thay they subjected themselves to such a dumbass activity is. Did they get hurt? Probably. Were they more stupid than this keyboard I'm typing on? Yes. So lets stop bitching about whether or not they got hurt and lets laugh at their stupidity. Oh and open this baby up in your media player of choice and play it frame by frame. Oh my gawd I fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard. haha. :)

I pat your back.
It takes a lot to admit a Chav problem nearby.
I can see the brown cloud of a place called Basildon on the horizon from where i live.
That is the Thunderdrome for Chavs. When they leave Southend-On-Sea on a Saturday nite, thats where they go home to.
