When I first signed up on eBaumsWorld.com's forum I found a thread about this amazing game. It had great graphics, over 100 levels, and an interesting plot. There is now a new generation of eBaumers here and I think it is time to teach them the ways of Quest for the Crown.

You play as Sir Legowmann and you fight your way through these levels to find the crown. The main foe is Lord Nonesuch who you will see in the last level.

I remember in the old thread many people were saying that the game didn't work and that when they get past the first level the credits come up and say that you won. If this happens to you I suggest you download more RAM.

Holy shit I remember this game, Fucking awesomly fun memories. Thanks, I remember never being able to pass the dam river trolls, That was like.. level 18 or something right? Storylines great, really epic journey once you finish it.

What's amazing, is the graphics. It's such simple, and just simply. Crap, but the amount of people that worked on this project, the emotions and fun you have. It's just teh awesome.

First time seeing this game. Simplicity in design, that's what I love! The gravestone puzzle almost had me.

Just use the guide. It really helped me out when I first played it.

If you are playing the game, hold alt and type SKILLZ and a text box appears. So far, the only thing I can find to put in it is "redo" and it puts you back at the beginning of the level. I only find this helpfull for one thing. On level 27 there's a glitch where you get stuck inside the wall on the east gate. Put in that code and you'll be back at the start of the level.

I'm sure there are other codes but I'm too lazy to look.

That's a glitch that a lot of people had in the first thread. What version of Macromedia Flash Player do you have?

K I just got to level 34...But there's two rooms I can go in...I'm afraid one of them is one of the traps like level 16. Is it the left or right room?

Neither of those rooms are traps. Those are good rooms.

The one on the left has a Mystic Shield. It is better than the Ray Shield and has a 25% chance of reflecting any magic attacks shot at you.

The one on the right has a Warrior's Blade. It does 35 damage points and doesn't weigh you down much.

I chose the left room because I already had a good sword that did 33 (or maybe 32) damage so it wasn't too much different.

Just wait untill you get to level 37. :wave:

Lol, That was a fucking awesome game. The Dragon Slaying Co-Op is my favourite. My characters got wicked cool armor. Man, This game is like an RPG, Action, MMO, and strategy all together.

yeah it never loads up for me, ive been sitting here for lik 10 minutes and it still says "movie not loaded" when i right click on it...and i jsut re-got Flash Player 9

you can pay for it for faster dl's, just keep looking and youll find some sooner or later

you can go to the library's or somone else's computer, copy some of its ram onto a floppy and bring it back to yours

That is a glitch. When you are on the main menu there is an option to play the old QftC that was made a few years before the much better version now. The original has 25 levels and very bad graphics. There is a glitch that goes right to the old version and you can only pass the first level. Then it either glitches out or it shows the ending credits. I don't remember why this glitch happened but it might be because you don't have the newest flash player installed.

jesus h christ, peter certera. i remember seeing that karate kid soundtrack video online and god, that was the gayest performance in the history of anything that is gay

btw, once you get lvl 42 you get this magic bracelet and when you throw it and use <aim/low> it has a 90% chance of going around the nuts of anything larger than a badger and with the word <wizardskittles> they contract and cut the nuts off, it does a good amount of damage if it's a guy or your mom

Don't fight them until you are at least level 35ish and you should use dragon scale armor.

No, that's a bit too much. Pick up an ice sword +10 found in the secret underground cave 2 maps before the forest trolls (step on a tree, you will "fall down" in a cave with the sword). The sword should help, but watch out for the trolls throwing spears, avoid them!

Well, I'm at lvl 49.

I must beat the Pac Mech before he reaches and eats my crown. Hopefully I have 5 red guards that can slow him down. In order to reach the crown, the Pac Mech must eat every red coin, each one makes him stronger and faster. I have to kill him before he reaches the crown.

I tried killing it by myself, but it eats me every time.

What shuold I do?

Edit: my guy is all white now because I found some holy armor that provides 50 extra defense

Use your bow and arrow, but DON'T use holy arrows, Use dark, It gives about 800% more damage, He'll charge at you every successful attack, so as soon as you press fire, quickly move positions.

After that, loot his corpse, he has a fair amount of crap.

Well, im level 37. I'm workin on the part where theres 2 rooms, and U have to push 1 block out of the way, but it hits another. And I cant get past it. Unless I need to go back a level? I think I may have missed something. I did get that circle lookin key thing though.

Its so easy, theres a great hammer on level 20, and you can use it to destroy brik terrain and other rocks....It also has a +12 streingth bonus, pretty good against Earth and Stone elemental deamons.
