Pretty cool, although obviously sped up in a few places, and edited together from several takes. I would like to see this kind of thing live, unedited. (Marching bands do this stuff sometimes, right? But the view from direct overhead is what makes it great.)
It's a commercial for a Turkish bank in case you didn't know.
Nice.

I really like it, but some parts actually looked a little fake because of the speed. I know it was fast forwarded, but I just thought it didn't look real in some spots.
Marching bands do make the designs on the field. We use the yard lines and the hashes painted on the field as spacing guides (using certain step sizes: 8 steps for every 5 yards, and I think 22 steps between hashes for high school fields). I think it's pretty cool that they can do this without anything marked on the floor, I'd like to know how they did this without anything to guide from besides themselves (and not have mass confusion lol).

I know what you mean; I wonder if some of the moves were computer-assisted (apart from speeding it up, which is a given). After all, it is a commercial, and not a "stunt" claiming to be "real".

They very well may have had markings on the floor, or maybe even lasers or lights or something to follow, later to be edited out. Again, we're talking about a produced commercial.

That's really kinda of neat actually. Even if it is sped up and slowed down, it adds some neat effects.

They did it for the winter olympics in torino. A bunch of people made a giant skier, and made it look like he was going down a slope. It was pretty cool.

Woah. Yeah, it does look kind of fake, but thats probably because of the fake "background" and because it's sped up.

When I watched it again, it look like claymation in some of the sped up parts.
