1) Backwards on the "Stairway to Heaven " takes you to hell...
2) The lyrics say..'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.' ie the lines in question.
3)Also in the lyrics... 'If you listen closely you will find the meaning or something to that effect' suggesting there were hidden messages so to speak in the song.

For those of you who don't think "Stairway to Heaven" has any message of any kind, have you tried to actually listen to it? If you don't have a program that will let you run an mp3 backwards, google DSS DJ. It is free, and will play backwards. Jump to about 4:50 then run it backwards until 4:20.
