Since all the rage these days seems to be converting old tv shows to movies, I thought I'd put in my two cents and say that a couple of tv shows I want to see made into movies are:
Freakazoid, The Green Hornet, and Macgyver
What would you like to see?

they amde a lot fo made for tv movies of mac...
and anderson said he wouldn't do anymore last i heard (not verified though)
i think changing a tv show into a movie is a big step backwards personally.
you got between 22- 26 episodes a season to tell a story, and most span seasons anyway.
writing a tv show is far more complex, with characters developed in much more depth (or at least the potential for them to be is there)
i dunno.
most of the old tv shows, i think are best left dusty in the closet...

I don't like seeing old tv shows made into movies(although I recently read that Kevin Smith is trying to make the Green Hornet with Jake Gyllenhall [Donnie Darko] and Jet Li in talks to star, which intriged me), just that it seems that hollywood has taken a liking to it recently. I created the thread as a psuedo "gun to your head" what tv shows do you want to see as movies.
I don't really remember any Macgyver tv movies, but I'm definatly interested in seeing them
Family Guy, Dragon Ball z (Live action on that one not like those 1 hour 20 minute ones), simpsons

The Simpsons
Family Guy
Another South Park
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
All of my favorite TV shows I would like to see as movies. Although, most of them would probably suck.
I was just thinking, reality TV has stormed onto the tube. Do you think it will ever go onto movies? I think it sort of has already. I remember hearing a thing about some movie where it played 4 different movies at the same time, and all it was, was people being followed by cameras. And also, The Real World Cancun movie. Was it improved or reality? I really don't want reality to come into the big screen.

the real cancune made about 10 000 dollors at the box office so i think that shows that people aren't going to pay any money when it comes to reality TV, the closest we came was Jackass, and at least that offered us something new.
there is a great movie paroding reality tv called series 7 the contenders. very dark and disturbing

I did hear the Real Cancun sucked, and I heard it's produced by an old couple who created the show. But does anyone know what movie it is that I am talking about with the 4 screens?

The Real Cancun was produced by John Murray and (the late) Mary-Ellis Bunim...the "genius" team that brought us The Real World and Road Rules. Aparently they thought we'd enjoy a very condensed version of an entire season of the Real World...boy, were they ever wrong...
