Anyone else heard of these guys? Most people know them from "No Rain"

But I found their album "Soup" in my dad's old cd collection and really liked it.

The main vocalist is dead from cocain overdose and the band broke apart so you probably won't hear from them anymore.

Give em' a listen and for the sake of generalizing, they sound like Led Zeplin.

One of my favorite bands of all time. Shannon Hoon had one of the most distinctive voices in the history of rock music, they were just amazing.

Blind Melon made some really great, magical songs.
I'm a HUGE fan of Shannon Hoon.

Big musical loss, but at least he left his mark.
