just came out today, and i went out to buy it. only got to listen to it once, but if you like Unearth then this CD wont disappoint.they havent changed too much from their last few CD's, but are evolving as a band a bit. has a good bit of break downs in it, whoot whoot.
uhh, do you mean unearth the forum member?

Sounds pretty good, but not my type of music. I dont like how the singer just growls and doesnt actually sing. The drums and guitar sound really sweet, but the singer just throws me off. Im not saying that they suck, just saying thats not what Im into.

It sounds pretty good. The new drummer brought a whole new element to the band since The Oncoming Storm. I have seen them like 4 times but that was back during The Sting of Conscience days.

Yeah the new drummer brought a heavier sound to them. I remember I was so surprised when I first heard The Oncoming Storm, much but I quickly fell in love with it.

I may have to pick this up. Unearth is one of the few metalcore acts I can stand, and actually enjoy.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. If it's metalcore that you like, it must be good. :)
And here's something I said in another thread, but I don't think you said you saw it. I would PM it, but my PM box is full and I can't be bothered clearing it right now (I'm in a rush).
Metallic, have you checked out Cephalectomy (http://www.cephalectomy.com/sounds.html) yet?
I would recommend giving Dragons Upon the Mountains of Mashu a listen, but it doesn't appear to be one of the downloadable songs.
Also, have you heard Scariot?

The growl in the Cephalectomy song Discerning Thee Apocryphal Divinity is awesome. Bite it, open face surgery!

Yes indeed. I'm fairly impressed with Cephalectomy - I once saw an album of theirs on DC++ and it looked interesting so I grabbed it. It's crazy, brutal and good.
I'm also impressed with the number of good metal bands from Canada... Quo Vadis, Augury, Cephalectomy, Cryptopsy, Neuraxis, Into Eternity, Voivod, Necronomicon, Woods of Ypres, Ion Dissonance and Gorguts. I will have forgotten some as well - that's just off the top of my head.
I thought Metallic might have know of them since he's Canadian.
