Is this a real recording? It seems very real, but how did the internet obtain it? I thought all the 911 tapes from that day were not released to ANYone. Plus, he said he was in Tower 2, but on the background video when he screams and his phone cuts off and it shows the tower he is in is collapsing, that is Tower 1. What do you guys think?

If you pay close attention to the background, you will notice that it repeats itself every 5 seconds. So, who knows if the sync is right between the audio and the video is right...

Some background on the tape:
Yes, he was in tower two. The person who edited the video clip spent a lot of time trying to sync audio and video before he realized that he made the mistake of showing tower one...so technically its wrong, but it serves well as a visualization.
As to how it was obtained...for a long time the gov't held onto all the 9/11 tapes. However, the families of the victims sued for the tapes...and eventually some (but not all) were released...this is one of those tapes that has been released.

Them terrorist suck ash. I hate how so many democrats and liberals are sympathetic to their cause. Really now, the only way you can please them is if you die. That's what they are really asking for. It aint' a simple political reform they want.

"Too emotional, intense
The New York Times and families of Sept. 11 victims sued for access to the emergency calls and firefighters’ oral histories. Attorneys said they wanted to find out what happened in the towers after two hijacked jetliners crashed into them and what dispatchers told workers and rescuers in and around the buildings.
The calls also include 10 previously unreleased 911 calls made by people trapped in the towers, although those calls will include only the voices of the operators who heard their pleas.
The city in March released transcripts of 130 calls from people trapped in the towers, including only the voices of operators and other public employees. The callers’ voices were cut out after city attorneys argued that their pleas for help were too emotional and intense to be publicized without their families’ consent.
Thousands of pages of emergency workers’ oral histories and radio transmissions were released last August."
This is why I said how did the internet obtain this tape.

If you click on the link on the right side that says "Listen to the Audio here" you will hear only EMS, Fire Dept and NYPD calls and they play a long beep when a civilian begins speaking. So, that's my point exactly, how did they obtain this tape?
ok, it is a real phone call because on that same website that i said proved my point, they have the transcript of the whole phone call. i guess his was one of the few where they released both sides of the conversation.

That is so bullshit. I'm a democrat and I would shoot a terrorist on site.
But Bush?

IF he said that over 4 years ago, he was right -- it really didn't matter if we caught him or not.

Yea we do got it good in America meaning we are allowed to say what we want. So he can say whatever he wants and there isn't anything you can do about it. Bush is bad by the way and having someone like you supporting him makes him look bad so thanks for the help.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic I think you are, but anyway America was founded on people criticizing the gov't so he was actually being very American.
