Deer Hit

Is it just me, or is it just a little strange that not only did the deer explode, but the rider didn't fall down? Deers aren't pinatas, they're a series of tubes.

I was expecting the biker to fall. But my bloodlust was satisfied with the fact that the deer exploded.

There is no way the biker would have maintained his composure if it were an actual deer. And once again, I must reiterate that the deer exploded into itty bitty pieces. Deers do not explode.

my uncle went to highschool with this girl and she crashed into a deer with her car and the deer went through the windshield and the antlers severed her head off.

Yeah, unless it was a fawn, a deer would definitely take a motorcyclist off their bike. I doubt that was a deer, at least an adult deer. I'd think even hitting a big dog would screw with a biker pretty bad.

I was thinking the same thing. How in the world did it not knock the motorcycle driver over the windshield??? I used to work in car insurance claims and I have seen quite a few photos of cars after they hit a deer. The car is demolished.

No way that was an adult deer. An average adult male white tailed deer weighs about 200 pounds. It could've been a fawn, but even then, he probably wouldve fallen off.

My guess is that the deer was already dead. When they lay by the rode a while they start swelling up so when he hit it, it was kinda like popping a balloon... therefore it didnt have the regular results of a deer hit.

well coming from a professional rider, if you hit a dog you would lose control, a deer would destroy your bike and send you flying!

after watching the slo mo part i think what happened is I saw the deer come from the left of the road and jump forward. Then he clipped his head and maybe even some limbs and his body was thrown to the right side ditch. he didn't explode he lost a arm/antler/some appendage.

My uncle hit a dog on his motorbike, it wasn't even a big dog but it sent him flying. And also my mum wrote my dad's car off by clipping the back half a deer so I think that even if the biker did just clip it he woulsn't have been able to keep going perfectly straight.
