I totally love this album, each song through and through I find to be excellent. Anyone share the same feeling? Out of the current albums released it's been my favourite of this year.

I can't find any torrents of that album.

They're not indie. But they're gay.

Yeah, they're definately not indie. Just completely gay and pure pop drivel. I saw them at Glastonbury and they bored me to death.

In England, \"indie\" has now come to mean pop-rock such as Libertines, Babyshambles and Keane, even though they\'re on major record labels...

I thought the Libertines were a load of shite, really derivative and monotonous. If Im listening to punk stuff I want something distinctive like Public Image Ltd. or The Fall.

I find it ironic given the supposedly anarchist beliefs of punk bands that they follow format so stringently and make such conservative, formulaic music.

Anyway, Keane are appalling though Bedshaped was a great song...

I'm English.. so I know what's considered Indie, I don't think anyone says they're Indie. Not that I've heard, anyway. If they do, they need their ears tested.

Anyway, Keane really aren't spoken about much anymore, after their first album maybe but not now.

I remember finding a site dedicated to hating this band once.

Faggot ass British indie rockers...

The fans of the UK\'s supposed indie scene I know class Keane in the same bracket as Libertines and the like actually but, in any case, hardly any of the bands called Indie in Britain are Indie as they are on MAJOR RECORD LABELS, and anyone that considers them to be indie (which is a good fucking majority of people) is a marshmallow. So its irrelevant what anyone considers them to be as most people are already wrong.

And, more to the point, indie is only a label - shit is perhaps a more appropriate label for Keane.

And, I might add, Babyshambles.

Hell, add the Kooks, Razorlight, Kasabian, Automatic, Maximo Park, The Zutons.. I could go on and on.

At least you recognise shite when you hear it then. Great.

Plus there\'s Athlete and Embrace and their ilk...

Oh my god, I hate the popular British music scene. But I'd rather have to put up with Keane's crap on the radio at work than that American bollocks called RnB. Justin Timberlake and Beyonce are far worse than Keane. But don't get me wrong, I fucking hate Keane.

Beyonce is at least enjoyable with the help of the mute button

keane? ehhh no thanks. i try to steer clear from the popular british scene and all of that clone shite. but, like others have said... it's not nearly as bad as the r&b/hip hop/rock scene of america.

i think i'll stick with "real" music.
