i jsut found my old copy of Thief: The Dark Projects and i really got excided about giving it another go, but i cant get it to run
it installed fine(as far as i could tell), and i dl'd and installed the v1.33 patch(as far as i could find was the latest), but when i go to play, ill double click the icon, itll go dark like its gonna go into the game, it blinks down with a tab on my taskbar(the tab says thief 1.14,which is the unpatched version, if that matters, after the patch it should be 1.33), and then itll give me a windows error that looks like this:
AppName: thief.exe AppVer: 1.9.0.0 ModName: lgvid.ax
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000151d
i have no idea what this means, but i spent a longass time searching around, and found somthing about registering lgvid.ax, so i did that in the run command and it said it was successful, but it still doesnt work
if anyone else can find anything that could help, it would be much appreciated, thanks
