View Full Version : Which Tony Hawk game should i get?

I feel the need for some video game skating right now and theres about 7 Tony Hawk Games out right now. I've played 1,2,3,4 and alittle bit of THUG 1, I know the new one is out "American Wasteland", but never really looked into it.

Anyone know which to buy that is overall the best and has the most fun to it?



Also, i was thinking about getting some other games, maybe Ace Combat 5: the belkan war, and Hitman contracts.

Imo the Tony Hawk 4 soundtrack just edges out TH3s. Same for the levels and general goodness.

4 is my favourite if you couldn't tell.

Tony hawk 1, 2, 2x, and 3 are the best ones. The underground sH** is stupid, and this new one is stupid too. Stick with the old ones my friend.

I remember renting 1 and 2 for the nintendo 64 back in the day and I got tony hawk 3 and 4 on my gamecube so i obviously wont have to buy those again.

And i already stated i played THUG 1 before, so is THUG 2 and/or AM worth the 20 bucks?

for other games, I really recomend hitman contracts, especially if you liked the other hitman games.

Id rent THUG 2 instead i beat it in around 2 days but thats cause i played it alot. Still it is really fun but pretty short.

the dreamcast demo for tony hawk 1. (yea yea yea, i know it's not the real game)

that brings back so many good memories, i must have played that one level over 400 times.

I own all of them except 4 and I can honestly say Underground 1 is the best by far. Undergroud 2 is good too, but a bit short. 1-3 are all pretty good, especially 2 . But American Wasteland was dissapointing. I'd still get it if you're a die-hard Hawk fan, but nothing special there.

Has anybody menchoned Tony Hawk Project 8? It's coming out for the 360 and PS3 sometime in 2007 I think. Take a look.
