This is a remake some crazy and talented person did for the Doom engine. If you've played either game, you'll love this.

One thing though, I think whoever did the music is a bit tone-deaf.

Instead of porting it with the doom 1 engine, why didn't they port it to the doom 3 engine?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of both. It just seems a little pointless.

because then you couldn't see anything, and james bond carrying a flashlight = not cool.

I never had any flashlight on goldeneye Doom3 it was a total conversion mod

Because this game was made before doom3 was even concieved in the minds of its makers.
I knew the guy who did this as he was making it. He hasn't spoken to me since I gave him negative feedback on an midi he made (not present in the PWAD), it just... really wasn't good at all.
The other music in the game was made by various artists from www.vgmusic.com
