Is the DS dead? Are there any good upcoming games? I'm personally looking forward to Harvest Moon DS. How about you guys?

Well, I have a few games for the DS right now.
-Mario Kart
-Animal Crossing
-Metroid
-Big Brain Acadamy
-New Super Mario Bros.

Afew other games I want though
-Star Fox
-Sonic
-Mario Hoops

Plus there are a few other main franchises that are coming out later this year
-New Yoshi
-New Kirby
EDIT: - oh yeah, New Zelda

The DS is in no way dead. I see it lasting for another 3 or 4 years, at least.

I've been playing Sudoku Gridmaster nonstop, and the New Super Mario game as well.

The Star Fox game looks cool, but apparently you won't be able to fly the ship yourself...you just plot out its course on the touchscreen. That's why it's called Star Fox:Command. I'll probably wait and read some reviews before I buy it. I definitely want that Zelda game though. The DS still has great potential to be one of the top handhelds for several years in my opinion. I love mine, it's the best purchase I've made in a long time.

Dead? No...

I'm looking forward to Contact, Harvest Moon, Star Fox, Megaman ZX, Children of Mana, Magical Starsign and a couple others in the next months.

Star Fox command sounds shitty when you put it like that. How is the Sudoku game? I've just dabbled in Sudoku but the idea of playing it anywhere sounds great

I only have two games: New Super Mario Bros. and Phoenix Wright.

Contact looks great, I'll buy it when it comes out for sure.

I got Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros. and Advance Wars Dual Strike...great games, but the best is Advance Wars, looking forward to that Zelda game. Overall I like th DS, cool stuff but the internet is still better than the DS.

Maybe...HE IS YOUR BROTHER!!!:ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

I don't personally own a DS but my brother does, and I find the game "Super Mario Bros: Partners In Time" to be highly addicting and VERY fun. It reminds me of Paper Mario which is one of my favorite N64 games.

I love the DS, I have the Lite version. I'm currently playing Nintendogs: Labrador and Friends and Dr Kawashima's Brain Training. The DS rules.

omgz 2 kewl! I'd play right now if I could, but to have a freind match you have to get at least 3 or 4 people to play. So we would have to get some other members. :-/

whats your code?

I'm currently playing Mario Kart DS, as it is my only game (saving for a motherboard, mine is shit). My friend code is 051613-403639. My name is b|ac|<bYrd. I don't play online a lot, which explains my short record.

So what game do you guys think I should get? I basically like all genres.

I carried all my ds games in a bag (Castlevania, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros., Warioware - Touched!, and Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time)

I lost the bag.

-Tear-

Luckily I had NSMB in my Ds when I lost the bag.

Well, the DS online play is great. I just played ZerotigerX in metroid. Craaazy. You can use the microphone to talk to eachother before and after the game. :boink: It would be a lot better if we could play with more people though.

I just played ZerotigerX in metroid.

Quoted for truth.

C'Mon people! We need some EBW people to play with! So instead of 1 on 1, we can have 4 eBaum homies playing!

And as an added bonus, Sucida1Poptart will play the Tendercrisp Bacon Chedder Ranch theme song into the microphone! :raiseeyeb

I just played a couple matches of MKDS online (normally I play SP) and I was screaming at this game. Every match I came close to winning, the final item they could shoot was always a blue shell. Once, I even got DOUBLE blue shelled. The N64's blue shell was one in a million; this one's 1 in 5. I even went from first to last in one blue shell.

I have DS with a dozen games. I try to buy one a month, since they are so affordable (used) on the web. Twenty bucks a pop, can't beat that! I have a few recommendations to add to the lists above:

1) Trauma Center -- weird operating game, sounds dumb but its teh bomb
2) Nintendogs -- if you want your girl to like video games, this is the tool
3) Any Castlevania -- DS or GBA, they're all like Symphony of the Night, amazing
4) Brain age -- has sudoku and some other kill time fast brain teasers, cheap

--

The only games I own that I didn't like as much as I thought are Warioware Touched (very kidlike, not like the party version on the Wii) and Eletroplankton (cool but very limited) music game, which I hoped would be better despite the lukewarm ratings. As it turns out, they're accurate.

If you like music games (and weird japanese stuff) try Ouredan or Rhythm Tengoku. Check this game out:
